Andriy Yarmolenko has emerged as a transfer target for Lazio as per Corriere dello sport reports.

The 25-year old Dynamo Kiev wingers deal is up at the end of the season and as a result many clubs have began to circle.

The report goes on to say how director Igli Tare wishes to continue his policy of signing free agents which saw both Wesley Hoedt and Ravel Morrison arrive over the summer.

Lazio face stiff competition across Europe

European Champions Barcelona are just one of many clubs said to be showing an interest in the Ukrainian international with over half a cenutry of international appearances.

Both Liverpool and Everton have shown interest in the past and the latter are allegedly planning a January bid to ensure they capture him.

Arch rivals Roma had also been interested  but having signed Mo Salah and Iago Falque

Ultras set to boycott derby

The Ultras from both Lazio and Roma have thretened to boycott the first derby di capitale which will take place at the beginning of November.

The threat comes as a result of security measure splitting the curva in which the ultras will be forced in when they lock horns.

We cannot stay immobile when faced with a club that doesn't look after its own fans," the statement from Roma's ultras started out.

We abandoned the stands due to the absurd impositions that we do not accept and never will accept. You will never take away our dignity in cheering on our team freely and the honesty of saying how things really are." 

The Roma ultras proceeded to call-out the club, “Now it's up to you, club and whoever else is complicit in this travesty, to prove to everyome your good faith and above all that you don't want to cancel forever the word passion from what has always been the fulcrum of the AS Roma support: the Curva Sud."

The ultras closed their statement reminding everyone that “nobody can buy us, because we are not for sale!!!
