Grassi is subject to interest from both Napoli and Fiorentina with the former having submitted a bid according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The €8.5 million offer includes bonuses which could take the deal up to €10 million but is yet to be either accepted or rejected with Atalanta waiting to see if La Viola will come to the table with an offer of their own.

The 20-year-old midfielder has quickly cemented a place in the orobici's starting eleven and has been highly impressive in his thirteen first team league appearances.

Fan favourite set to quit

German Dennis is reportedly ready to cut his stay in Bergamo short this mercato as many clubs circle for the 34-year-old.

L’Eco di Bergamo say Argentine duo San Lorenzo and Independiente, a club where Dennis starred at previously, are joined by Mexican side Club Tijuana in being interested.

The striker joined Atalanta five years ago from Udinese and has went on to net over half a century of goals in that time but the players agent told the same publication that "after five years, it’s time to move on."

It was widely reported that Dennis' last game for the club would be the weekend past's fixture against Inter and it appears so with his agent expected to be in Atalanta on Friday for talks with the clubs hierarchy.
