CalcioMercato.Com report that Milan will now open talks with Eredivisie outfit Ajax over young starlet Anwar El Ghazi now that Alessio Cerci' Genoa loan is confirmed.

El Ghazi, 20, is subject to a bid in the region of the €6 or 7 million from the rossoneri but the San Siro outfit may have to sell Stephen El Shaarawy before any move can be completed the same source reports.

Cerci to put an end to torrid spell in Milan

Alessio Cerci is set to undergo a medical at Genoa today ahead of a loan deal until the end of the season.

The Atletico Madrid man joined Milan last January on an 18-month loan deal in a move that saw Atleti fan favourite, Fernando Torres return "home."

The 28-year-old made a mere six appearances for the Spanish club and has largely struggled to show the same form he showed at Torino since departing wherever he's been.

A deal had already been agreed between Cerci and the Stadio Luigi Ferraris side this time last week but the move was put on hold as the Qatari fund who own some of his rights were yet to okay the deal. Sky Sport Italia say that the move has now been given the "green light" by the Qatari fund.

Perotti Roma bound?

With Genoa signing Cerci it raises questions over whether or not Diego Perotti will be a grifone player for much longer as Roma lurk.

Luciano Spaletti is said to be the stumbling block in the move with Genoa not hearing anything since his recent appointment after Rudi Garcia's sacking.

Perotti waved goodbye to fans after they dispatched lowly Palermo 4-0 at the weekend, further heigtening speculation. Despite just one goal in 14 appearances this season, Perotti remains in large a vital part of the team who were expected to be in and around the European places at the start of the season.
