Speaking with Inter Channel, Adem Ljajic has signaled his intentions to stay at the San Siro beyond the end of the season when his loan from Roma expires.

He quickly told the Inter's official channel that he hopes to stay with the nerazzurri but admitted that "it's still too soon to say" whether he will be running out in black and blue next term, "the management will make that call" he added.

The Serbian forward went on to talk of his "good relationship" with the Inter faithful and said he knows all to well that "without them football wouldn't exist."

He continued saying he hopes they continue to "come and cheer us on every weekend."

Ljajic joined the club in the summer and has been an ever present feature in Roberto Mancini's side which at first looked solid contenders for the scudetto but have since endured some tough patches something which the 24-year-old says you just "go through" as seen with other clubs whose "form dropped off a bit over the first three or four months."

Permanent move possible given Roma additions

During the mercato Roma added wingers Diego Perotti and Stephen El Shaarawy to their ranks leaving Ljajic further down the pecking order than when he left where Mo Salah and Gervinho - who has since departed for China - were his only direct competition for a starting berth.

In two years with the giallorossi Ljajic amassed just over 60 apperances and had a goal on averge every four outtings having signed from Fiorentina for €11 million.

In December of last year, Ljajic spole with various media after the game against Genoa where he scored a free-kick which won Inter the game and was quoted as saying "Do Roma regret me? I hope so."

Inter travel to Verona to face winless Hellas at the weekend in which will likely be his 19th Serie A appearance.
