The nerazzurri are looking forward to reinforce the midfield area because they haven't reached the level that Roberto Mancini expected from them with Lass Diarra and Nani as per Tuttosport.

The idea of having a stronger midfield is that Inter perform at a higher level in the Serie A and face their next european escapade with the necessities to bring the trophies to the Giuseppe Meazza.

Costs to Inter

Reportedly Lass Diarra is value between 8 and 10 million Euros and Nani could leave Turkey from around 12 million Euros, this would cost a maximum of 22 million Euros, a price considering today transfers market where Anthony Martial cost 50 million euros is better than good. Landing two players with the quality of Nani and Diarra could set Inter to a higher level because they both have international experience and had played for big clubs such as Manchester United and Real Madrid, clubs where the competitive pressure and demand is at the highest level of football.

Mancini aims to enlargen the squad that could resist the exhausting season where you are trying to compete at the best level domestically and in Europe.

Season Form

Both players are experiencing good seasons so far. Diarra has found the net once in 28 appearances with French club Marseille in the League 1. Nevertheless the French man has been outstanding in the defence and has provided security to the midfield of Míchel Gonzáles's side. Moreover the Portuguese, Nani, is tearing the Turkish league apart with 7 goals and 5 assists in 21 league games, very good numbers for a 29 year old that left Manchester United because of the lack of minutes that he was having on the pitch.

Other possibilities

Even though Nani and Lass sound loudly in Inter's radar there are other players that could arrive at Inter for the next season. The board are managing a variety of names such as Lazio's Antoni Candreva, Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi and Bayern Leverkusen's Karim Bellarabi amongst other names.
