There looks to be a hectic summer on the horizon for Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta. The need of defenders is top priority for next season as Martin Caceres is likely to head out of the Turin based club and Andrea Barzagli is reaching the very end of his career.

However, now news around the departure of Alvaro Morata is gaining momentum with Real Madrid planning to use their clause of buying back the Spanish striker. Los Blancos are said to be in the market for a top striker to enforce their front line with Morata seemingly fitting their bill.

Juve want a big name

Juventus want to sign a big name that can lead the team, and help them achieve the old lady’s target for next season. Tuttosport reported three main options that could play with the Bianconeri next season.

The first name on the list is PSG’s hitman Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan Striker is Juventus top priority on the list due to his experience in Serie A with Palermo, and Napoli before his move to PSG in 2013. It will be tough to land Cavani to Turin however. The relations between both teams aren't as good as they couldv'e been after a deal involving Kingsley Coman fell through.

Belgian duo the alternatives

Also, the report suggested that Everton’s Striker Romelu Lukaku might be in black and white next season. The striker mentioned many times that he wants to play in the Champions League, which is all but guaranteed at the Juventus Stadium. Another Belgian striker is a target, Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi. The 22 year old striker is having a good season with the French club, scoring 14 goals and 9 Assists in 31 Games.

The deals for the Belgian duo can be much easier for Marotta with their agents having strong relations with Juventus, Mino Raiola the representative of Lukaku, has many deals with the bianconeri for more than 14 years and Batshuayi’s representatives Doyen also have good relations.
