26 year old midfielder Beñat Etxebarria has today signed for Athletic Bilbao from Real Betis, in a deal worth around £6 million.
The club have confirmed that a five year deal has been agreed, and that the player will be officially presented to the media tomorrow at 5pm.
Beñat had previously played for the Basque club, but after a solitary appearance, he was released and went on to play 105 games for Real Betis. The playmaker has signed on the back of a wonderful season at Betis, in which he made his debut for the senior Spanish national team.
