Alvaro Morata has announced his desire to stay at Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old has been the subject of interest from the likes of Inter Milan and Arsenal over the last six months due to his lack of playing time.

But after scoring three goals in his last three La Liga games, he's expressed that he's keen to stay.

"I'm happy here, I grew up in Madrid and I have a connection to this club," Morata said.

With Cristiano Ronaldo missing, Ancelotti has looked to Morata to fill the void and he's not disappointed.

"It's clear the coach trusts me. He's given me the opportunity to earn minutes," Morata told Spanish reporters.
