Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino has been under a lot of pressure in recent weeks. The team has slumped dramatically and the results are clearly not there for Los Blaugranas.

They lost against Real Madrid in the Copa Del Rey final, were eliminated of the UEFA Champions League by Atletico Madrid and two straight losses in La Liga have complicated their chances to win the title.

Martino is clearly feeling the pressure and he voiced over his feelings about what has happened in recent weeks. As expected, the Argentinean manager is not happy with how things have unfolded in recent weeks.

“I don’t have any satisfaction and I’m not happy with what I’ve done so far”, the former Newell’s Old Boys tactician told the media today. “We haven’t got the expected results so I can’t be content but there’s no determination taken about what will happen next year”.

Martino also had time to talk about the upcoming contest against Athletic Bilbao and while he didn’t say that the game was a key fixture, the former Paraguay National Team coach did say that they don’t have more margins for error.

“If we make any kind of mistake, this could be our end”.

“But we don’t have to worry too much and we only need to take care of winning our game. The team needs to show that they are able to overcome the three hits received in the last eight days”.

Martino ended giving his insight about the future of the team and particularly Lionel Messi, saying he doesn’t think the cycle can be over yet.

“This squad has plenty to give yet. If we check the age of players like Neymar, Andrés (Iniesta), Leo (Messi), Jordi Alba, Piqué... they are all young and they are still learning”.

“I don’t see Messi going anywhere. I can see him playing for Barcelona until his career is over. I just can’t think of anywhere else he could be”.
