Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says Chelsea are a huge team after beating Liverpool with their "B" team and will cause his side problems.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho rested key players in their decisive title clash against Liverpool ahead of facing Atletico Madrid in the 2nd leg Champions League semi finals at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. Despite resting important players, the London side managed to beat the Merseyside club 2-0. Chelsea and Atletico Madrid enter in the 2nd leg of their Champions League semi-final clash with all to play for after a 0-0 draw at Vicente Calderon.

Simeone believes Chelsea will be a tough opponent at Stamford Bridge and will cause the club problems.

"It is clear Chelsea has a huge team because they won despite making a lot of changes," he said.

"That means we are going to play against a powerful team, something we knew. So they will make a lot of problems for us next Wednesday."

The last time Atletico Madrid reached the Champions League final was in 1974. Reaching it now would be a massive achievement for Diego Simeone and the club. On top of it, they are also in the race to win the La Liga title with their last domestic league trophy coming in 1996.
