Lionel Messi has indicated his desire to bring fellow Argentinian compatriot, Sergio Aguero to the Camp Nou.
Augero has been a revelation since his move to the Etihad in 2011. At his time in Manceshter he has won 3 trophies during his time in Manchester and has also scored 74 goals in a 120 appearences for the Citizens.
Messi wants Barcelona to sign Aguero as part of his new contract terms. The representatives of Messi say they are close to an agreement for his financial package but the striker is worried about the teams prospects in the future. Messi will now recieve of €20mil per year with bonuses of €4mil
It is claimed that Messi wants a squad capable of challenging once again at the top level and believes that Aguero could be a key component in their quest for success.
Barcelona's hierarchy will hope Messi's contract will be completed by the start of the World Cup but that has not yet been certified. Messi though also wants Jose Pinto's contract renewed as it has been reported that Pinto and Messi are close friends but it will be unlikely that Pinto will stay at the club.
Catalonia television have reported that sporting director, Andoni Zubizarreta and Messi have clashed during the process of the negotiations and the likeliness that Pinto will leave.
