According to Spanish media and Al-Arabi coach Dan Petrescu, Barcelona midfield Xavi Hernandez has signed a pre-contract with Qatari side, Al-Arabi, and will join next season.
Al-Arabi will pay Xavi 8.3 million Euros per season for three years, in Petrescu's interview with Digisport. Marca confirmed the agreement from football agent, Bayram Tutulmu.
"They assured me that he has received an offer to play for three seasons earning a net figure of 8.3 million euros for each one. I was even told that a contract had been signed, although I did not actually see it," claims Tutulmu.
