Real Madrid could be set to land Radamel Falcao after the World Cup according to France's BeIN Sports.

The 27-year-old, who missed the World Cup due to a knee injury, is ready to call quits on Monaco after just one season with the French club.

The Colombian forward has already rejected moves from Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City over the last few seasons.

It finally appears as though Real Madrid will get their man, after failing to sign him last summer. It seems Falcao is keen to join the Bernabeu-based club.

Falcao's agent Jorge Mendes will be looking to engineer a lucrative deal for himself and the forward with a fee of €50m+ to be expected.

If Radamel Falcao does sign for Real Madrid, it should mean the La Liga club's interest in Liverpool's Luis Suarez will die down.
