Refusing to reveal any plans for next season until after the World cup Toni Kroos has successfully kept everyone in suspense.  The Bayern Munich midfielder had an impressive campaign with Germany in Brazil, making him the subject of transfer speculation.

Kroos, who finished the tournament as the leading creator with four assists, confirmed after the final match as promised that he would indeed be leaving Bayern for Real Madrid. When celebrating the 1-0 win against Argentina on Sunday night, Kroos confirmed he would be linking up with the La Liga giants in a 'dream' move. He said "We’ve finished the World Cup in the best way possible. Now I’m going to Madrid, so that’s two dreams achieved.”, showing his passion for joining the club.

The German midfielder has been linked with Madrid for a number of weeks but has refused to comment as his attention has been fully concentrated on the World Cup. Now that it is over it is almost certain that he will be heading to the Bernabeu this summer. With fellow countryman Sami Khedira reportedly heading to Arsenal, Kroos now has the chance to make himself a Real Madrid legend.

Toni Kroos is said to be holidaying in Spain and is expected to complete his move to Real Madrid in the very near future, it could be confirmed as soon as today. The German international was spotted in Mallorca last night and he is likely to go from the island to the capital to wrap up his transfer from Bayern Munich to Los Blancos.

Kroos avoided speaking to the press upon his arrival in Mallorca, so we will have to wait for final confirmation but the move looks more than likely.
