La Liga new boys Córdoba have completed the loan signing of Juventus midfielder Fausto Rossi. The deal will also include the rights for Valladolid to make it permanent at the end of the season.

The Italian midfielder spent last season on loan at Real Valladolid, who unfortunately suffered relegation after a 2-year stint in La Liga. Despite being part of the relegated outfit, Rossi still had an impressive season - largely noted as the stand-out player in the eyes of those who followed Valladolid's campaign.

At 23 years old, it's becoming time for Rossi to make a decision about his future. He has impressed during all three of his loan spells away from the Turin club, but has never been welcomed back into the fold at Juventus. The midfielder has been at the club since the age of eight, yet has never made an appearance for the Bianconeri.

If Rossi can have another impressive season with Córdoba, it's likely he will be leaving Juventus for good. However, whether it will be with the Andalusian club is another matter. They only qualified for La Liga after Barcelona B were ineligible for promotion, and a relegation fight could well be forthcoming.

The Italian will once again embark upon the Spanish season with a task on his hands, but his personal future also hangs in the balance. Good performances may not save Córdoba, but they might save his career.
