Atletico Madrid will be looking to move into 2nd place in La Liga when they face Deportivo La Coruna in the early kick-off.

Diego Simeone’s side are firing on all cylinders at the moment including a 4-0 win over Olympiakos in midweek  and despite their slow start to the campaign they will be looking to gain their 10th victory in 12 games on Sunday afternoon.

Deportivo are beginning to steady the ship after they were promoted at the beginning of the season and only have one defeat in their last five games. However they failed to win in their last four games including 0-0 draw with David Moyes’ Real Sociedad the last time out which has left them in the relegation zone in 18th position.

Simeone is likely to recall Antoine Griezmann to the side after he was on the bench in midweek, but he will be without Miranda after he picked up an injury while playing for Brazil and is unlikely to return until December.

Deportivo will have both Robert Canella and Lucas Perez available after they recovered from their injuries, however they will be without midfielder Luis Farina.
