Out-of-favor Cardiff striker, Javi Guerra is set for a loan move to La Liga outfit Malaga, according to Diario Sur. The 32-year-old striker was a goal scoring machine at Valladolid where he scored 68 goals in 144 league matches for Las Albivioletas. However, the Spanish striker has only made three appearances and has played only 41 total minutes for the Bluebirds.

The deal is expected to be announced in the next couple of days as the only thing that is missing is the signature. This will be a good move for both sides as Guerra his way down in the pecking order and Malaga is also expected to pitch in a percentage of the footballers wages. Guerra will hope that this move will be a way for him to hopefully regain his form in front of goal as the southern club desperately needs a striker who can finish from anywjere in and around the box.
