Sevilla travel to Espanyol having an unbeaten record of 10 games in all competitions, and are one of the only teams in Spain that have a 100% start to 2015. Their last game saw them host Malaga in a clash of European challengers, but Unai Emery's side ran out comfortable 2-0 winners thanks to magnificent goals from Carlos Bacca and Denis Suarez.

The club have had a fairly straightforward run in the competition so far. The two games they have played have both resulted in massive aggregate scorelines, beating Segunda Division side Sabadell with a combined 11-2 before hammering Granada 6-1 on aggregate in the previous round.

Espanyol have endured a topsy turvy half-season. The Catalan club have been unable to maintain any real form as they suffered disappointing losses against the likes of Elche and Eibar. However Sergio González' side will have been handed a huge morale-boost after Felipe Caicedo came off the bench to score a late brace as they knocked out Valencia  3-2 on aggregate.

Espanyol have already hosted Sevilla once this season, with their second game of the league campaign coming against Sevilla. Unai Emery's side ran out comfortable 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Carlos Bacca and Vicente Iborra in each half. Christian Stuani pulled one back for the Catalans but Sevilla comfortably held on to pick up their first three points of the season.

Unai Emery and the rest of the Sevilla team will be hoping they can repeat the feat and put in another impressive performance as they aim to secure qualification into the semi-final, where the winners will play either Athletic Bilbao or Malaga, who drew 0-0 in their first leg at La Rosaleda last night.
