Valencia have ended the speculation surrounding the future of their Spanish international striker Paco Alcacer by giving him a new five year contract.

Alcacer is now contracted to Los Che until June 2020 and it is believed his new buyout clause is in the region of €80m which makes it unlikely that he will leave the club in the near future.

Alcacer said “I am delighted and proud to be continuing at Valencia CF for five more seasons. I want to thank the club for the confidence in me that they are showing. What I have to do now is pay them back by scoring goals and giving everything that I have to help the team.”

Alcacer has eight goals and five assists in his eighteen appearances for Valencia this season although he hasn't scored since the final game of 2014 against Eibar.

Alcacer made his international debut in August against France and now has three goals in five caps.  He looks to have a big future in the game and Valencia have done well to get him to commit his future to the club. It is now up to Alcacer to repay that with goals and Valencia fans will be hoping he starts this season with the goals that take the club into next seasons Champions League.
