Eibar host already-relegated Córdoba on the final day of the La Liga season knowing that only a win will be enough to give them a chance of surviving the drop.

The minnows are two points adrift of safety going into Saturday's game, but with the two teams above them facing Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, they know that anything is still possible.

Raul Navas may return after injury for the hosts, and if so will likely partner Lillo at the heart of the defence. Midfielder Dani Garcia returns from suspension and should be thrust immediately back into the starting line-up, but Manu Del Moral looks set to miss out through injury.

For the visitors, Inigo Lopez and Fede Cartabia both return from suspension with the former expected to return to the centre of defence, while Luso's stunning bicycle kick against Rayo Vallecano last week is likely to ensure he keeps his place in the team. Borja Garcia is available for selection on the right, but Rene Krhin could miss out in midfield.

Córdoba's terrible form in the league should prove a boon for the morale of the home side as they look to escape the drop. They have lost 16 of their last 18 games in La Liga and have failed to trouble the scorers in seven of their last nine away from home.

However, Eibar are in awful form themselves, losing four of their last five in the league and drawing their most recent game away to Getafe. Manager Gaizka Garitano must be hoping that the reward of success is enough to focus his players' minds enough to conjure an improved performance than they have managed for the majority of the season.

Garitano knows that his side must take every chance they get in the game, but is optimistic that they can get the job done on the final day.

"I used to like to play in these games," the former midfielder claimed. "We must be brave and give our best. If it goes well, it will be remembered for many years.

"When we have been in extreme situations live or die, we have gone forward. I am optimistic.

"Tomorrow we have to win anyway and see if other results go our way," he stressed. "We have to forget the other games and head into ours.

"Only if we win we will have the chance to stay in the first division. The equation is simple; if we do not win we do nothing. We are the only team which does not have to look at another game, because we need to win - and hope."

Meanwhile, his opposite number José Antonio Romero wants his team to go down fighting, despite having been relegated to the second division some time ago and trailing Eibar by 12 points.

"This is an opportunity to demonstrate a degree of competitiveness. We want to compete until the end.

"[Eibar are] a very well ranked team with great commitment and experience."
