Having been crowned champions last weekend, Barcelona conclude their La Liga campaign at Camp Nou, hosting Deportivo La Coruña on Saturday.

The fixture could see manager Luis Enrique rest a number of key figures ahead of the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals, and Jordi Masip – the third-choice goalkeeper – is rumoured to start alongside season-long injury ridden defender Thomas Vermaelen looking to make his debut for the club

However, all eyes will be on Xavi Hernandez, who announced on Thursday that he would be leaving the club, come the end of the season to go to Qatari club Al Sadd. As a result, the outing will be his final league game for the Catalan giants, and well as his final outing at home after a 17-year-spell for the first team.

Eight Liga titles, three Champions League winners medals, six Spanish Super Cups, three FIFA Club World Cups and two Copa del Rey titles rank the veteran midfielder as one of Barcelona’s all-time greats, and his final appearance will somewhat mark the end of an era for Barcelona. Nonetheless, he may still be able to add two final honours to the list.

Sergio Busquets is expected to be rested for their important fixtures ahead, meaning Sergi Roberto may start as Pedro replaces a doubtful Luis Suarez.

Deportivo will be without their suspended Luisinho, and injured Pablo Insua. They have failed to beat Barcelona for 12 years, last securing a 2-0 win at Camp Nou back in 2003, as they look to battle staying in La Liga for another season.

“Xavi made a decision that eventually had to be made, but he can still win two more titles. He'll have a new and very enriching experience and he'll also be able to see what he had at Barça.''- Luis Enrique about Xavi's future

''Finals are very special matches. The atmosphere is wonderful, the stadium is 50/50 with fans for both teams," he said, talking about the coming duels with Athletic Club and Juventus.''
