Dutch international Rafael van der Vaart wants to end his career in La Liga and has been offered to Real Betis and Malaga, AS reports.

Van der Vaart, who is set to leave Hamburg this summer, has his heart set on a return to Spain with his preference being to move to a club in Andalusia. The Dutch international's mother is from a small village near Cadiz and it is believed he wants to move to the region ahead of his retirement in a few years.

Real Betis and Malaga have both been contacted and have declared an interest in signing the ex-Real Madrid man but wages could be a problem for both sides as van der Vaart would become one of the top earners at both clubs. The attacking midfielder had been linked with a return to Ajax but he has already confirmed that he will not be going back to Amsterdam.

Van der Vaart has scored 25 goals in 109 caps for the Netherlands and would be a superb edition to either side as they look to build their squads ahead of next season.
