After just one season with Sevilla, Aleix Vidal will be headed back to Barcelona until 2020 after a 17 million Euro transfer fee was agreed upon by both clubs.

It was fourteen years ago when he was apart of the Barcelona youth academy but only stayed there for one season as he continued to bounce from youth club to youth club before making his debut with Espanyol's B side in 2008 as a teenager. Vidal is an extremely pacey right-winger who can also play behind the main striker and creates loads of opportunities for his teammates, while also knocking in a goal or two of his own.

In his press conference he had this to say: "This is the most important day of my life. I've played for a lot of teams before arriving at Barca, but I hope this one's the last. I went through a lot to get here and I'm living a dream. I always try to give my best. There's no better way to learn than by playing with these teammates. I'm coming here to find my niche. These four months will be good for me to improve in certain areas." (quotes via Barcelona's Twitter page).

It was a good bit of business by Sevilla as well. They signed the Valls-born footballer for a mere four million Euros last summer from Almeria and instantly made a 13 million Euro profit after just one season with the club. Los Rojiblancos will surely miss his creativity on the pitch, but they're known for their shrewd signings and will replace him this summer.
