Dynamo Kiev forward Andriy Yarmolenko, hot on the radar of several European sides, is said to be holding out for his dream Barcelona move, according to reports.

English outfit, Everton, lodged a bid in the region of €25 million for the Ukrainian's services this summer and, although Kiev initially accepted the offer, Yarmolenko was not on board.

Barca also submitted a bid for the winger, but the Catalans' offer was said to be below the asking price.

The club were also reluctant to submit a second offer given their current transfer embargo.

Celta Vigo wideman Nolito is also a reported target of Barca's, with his release clause set at €15 million, according to Sport.

An adept squad player

With Neymar and Luis Suarez having settled supremely into life at Barcelona, it is likely that Yarmolenko will play a more reserved role should his dream move come to fruition.

The Kiev man has been touted as Ukraine's brightest prospect -- and wields an enviable left-foot -- but breaking into a Barca side fresh off a historic treble victory would be a considerable task.

Arda Turan has been coaxed from Atletico Madrid and may feature, albeit sporadically, as one of the attacking trident.

Yarmolenko would still receive his fair share of appearances, both domestically and on the continent, given Barca are widely expected to go deep in all three competitions.

May need to wait 12 months

Sport also report that the winger has been informed that Barcelona will return with a further offer either in January or next summer.

Should he jump ship in January, however, he would be unable to feature in the Champions League.

Barca may be prompted to secure his signature in January -- when the club's registration ban comes to an end -- with Everton likely to lodge a second bid soon.
