It will be a star studded fixture as Paris Saint-Germain take on Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid in the fourth match day of the UEFA Champions League.

Form

Real Madrid have gotten off to a solid start to their season. It took some time to adjust to new manager Rafa Benetiz's ways, but Madrid seem to be hitting their stride. They are at the top at La Liga with Barcelona trailing just behind them. After drawing with Atletico Madrid in the Madrid Derby a month ago, Real have pulled off three straight wins in La Liga.

Most recently, Los Blancos dispatched Las Palmas 3-1 over the weekend. They are also first in their group in the Champions League. Madrid are on top of Group A with 7 points but are only beating PSG on goal difference. With games against Sevilla and Barcelona coming up, it is important that Madrid maintain their form.

Although they are second in their Champions League group, PSG have gotten off to a flying start in Ligue 1. Last years champions hold a 10 point lead over Lyon and look to end the title race early this year. After drawing with Madrid a few weeks ago, PSG have reeled off two wins in Ligue 1 and have extended their winning streak to six games. With a 10 point lead early, PSG will look to maintain that pace and focus on Europe as well.

Key Players

The key player for PSG is David Luiz. PSG have a world class centreback in Thiago Silva while Luiz remains the wild card at the back. His performance is the key to the Parisians defense and he will have to have a good game against a healthy Madrid attack. The Brazilian was embarrassed last year against Luis Suarez and Barcelona and will look to redeem himself in European football.

Luka Modric will be absolutely vital for Real Madrid. It is safe to say that out of all the superstars in Madrid, Modric is the man that runs the show in the midfield. He suffered an injury last year and Madrid struggled mightily. He will be the key to Madrid's transition on the counter attack and can help control possession if needed.

Team News

After having a lot of players injured during the first part of the season, Real Madrid are finally getting healthy. James Rodriguez and Modric seem fit enough to face PSG. Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas also seem fit to face the Parisians.

But Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema do not seem fit enough to face PSG.

For PSG, David Luiz will be looking to return in this fixture as he missed the first matchup due to injury.
