Neil Robertson won all four frames on Monday to complete a comfortable 10-2 victory and set up a second round meeting with the winner of Ali Carter and Alan McManus.

The 2010 champion was in sublime form throughout with three century breaks including a fantastic 143 in yesterday's session and on this form he could very well be one to watch as the tournament progresses.

Barry Hawkins will join the Australian in the last sixteen  after allowing Matthew Selt to come back from 9-4 down to level the match at 9-9. Selt was superb scoring fifties in all five frames including two centuries to level the game but Hawkins held his nerve in the decider to get the win.

World number ten Stuart Bingham beat Robbie Williams 10-7 in a game that started and finished on Monday. The victory means Bingham will now take on the 2006 champion Graeme Dott in a meeting between two of the games most experienced players.

Monday also saw the opening sessions of Ding Junhui v Mark Davis and Ali Carter v Alan McManus. Davis opened up a 4-0 lead on Ding but the Chinese star recovered to reduced the deficit to 4-3 overnight. In the other game Carter opened up a 6-3 lead over McManus to give himself a great chance of progression.

Tuesday sees Ding v Davis (10am) and Carter v McManus (2.30pm) played to a finish as well as the opening sessions of Ronnie O'Sullivan v Craig Steadman (2.30pm) and Mark Williams v Matthew Stevens (7pm). The other game will see Mark Allen and Ryan Day play their full match over the morning and evening sessions.
