VAVEL Boxing recently published a list of our top 10 boxers within the heavyweight division. Within our list Ukrainian chart-topper Wladimir Klitschko (64-3) has beat three of the other nine; Bryant Jennings, Kubrat Pulev and Alexander Povetkin. He has been beaten though, something which mandatory challenger, Tyson Fury (24-0) can hold over the champion.

Many boxing fans are split on Tyson Fury, his outspoken nature the cause of the majority of that, however, the Mancunian has gone some way to winning over a portion of his critics. Whilst Fury will always be an outspoken man, he does seem to have reeled it in a bit recently in that regards which has endeared him more to the British public and media. Most recently his number was spotted on Twitter via his wife, Paris Fury and instead of ignoring or blocking calls Fury encouraged people to keep trying to get through to him and he took the calls and spoke briefly with his fans. Shortly after, tweeting "I have the best fans in the world," as well as "loving the phone calls, keep trying and you'll get through." Okay, this is not going to help him beat Klitschko, but it's nice to see Fury in a positive light.

Most importantly in the ring, many fans were bored (to put it mildly) at the prospect of the rematch against Dereck Chisora. Whilst the fight itself wasn't explosive or enjoyable because of how much Fury dominated but Fury's technical ability shone through that night and most of all the unexpected change of stance to southpaw. He fought from the same stance against Christian Hammer which raised the question "Why?" - well, the man himself has stated to manchestereveningnews.co.uk; "The key to beating Klitschko is from a southpaw stance." Whilst it's a good thing for Fury to have to bring into the fight, this writer doesn't believe that alone will grant him the win. After all, that tactic didn't work out too well for other contenders like Corrie Saunders and Tony Thompson against the formidable Ukrainian.

Can Futy honestly stop the reign of Klitschko at the top of the heavyweight division? It's heavily debatable if he can seriously challenge him but what is no longer debatable is that Fury will get his chance to show what he can do against the worlds undisputed heavyweight champion.
