Seen as huge outsiders to qualify from their Rugby World Cup pool, the flying Fijians have named their squad for the tournament, where they will be led by Akapusi Qera

Despite being unable to call upon star winger Napolioni Nalaga, Fiji still believe that they can cause the big sides in Pool A huge problems, with Crusader Nemani Nadolo amongst the most terrorising wingers in world rugby.

The injured Nalaga has been terrorising European club defences over the past decade whilst playing for Clermont Auvergne, yet has been omitted from the squad, although he is on the reserve list alongside Timoci Nagusa and Seremaia Bai of Leicester

Pacific Nations champs full of confidence

Fiji are in great form heading to England for the tournament after winning the recent Pacific Nations Cup which was held in North America.

Their victory over Samoa in the final was a perfect example of just how dangerous the Fijians can be with ball in hand, and they will be hoping to showcase that when they play in the opening World Cup game against hosts, England at Twickenham on September 18.

Glasgow Warriors' lock Leone Nakarawa and Bath-bound scrum-half Niko Matawalu were at their dazzling best throughout the tournament, and will be at the heart of many of the Fijian attacks at the upcoming World Cup.

Strong British contingent

Alongside Matawalu and Nakarawa, there are plenty of other players from British shores who have been named in McKee's squad.

Ospreys pair Josh Matavesi and Tevita Cavubati are among those involved, as well as Leicester Tigers back Vereniki Goneva who has scored plenty of tries in his time at the Midlands-club.

Harlequins are also well represented, with back-rower Netani Talei and winger Asaeli Tikoirotuma amongst the 31, with McKee saying, "I am very pleased to announce a very strong and experienced team to represent Fiji at RWC2015.

"After the successful Pacific Nations Cup campaign and current training camp here in Fiji the squad is working well towards the challenges ahead in the UK at RWC2015."
