Australia get their 2015 Rugby World Cup campaign underway on Wednesday when they face Fiji at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

It is already must-win territory for their opponents, Fiji, who were defeated 35-11 in the opening game of the competiton against England at Twickenham.

In the group of death, anything other than a bonus-point win for the Wallabies will seen as failure, in a tournament they are expected to reach the latter stages of after winning the Rugby Championship

Hooper & Pocock link up in strong Australian selection

As Australia make their bow at the World Cup, head coach Michael Cheika has selected a very strong team for this dangerous encounter against a Fijian side who are desperate to make their mark on the competition.

In the back-row Michael Hooper and David Pocock have both been selected in what has been the biggest talking point for the side leading up the tournament.

Hooper and Pocock could each make an argument that they're the best flanker in the world, yet it remains to be seen whether they can play alongside one another in a Wallaby side.

Stephen Moore captains the side from hooker, where he packs down with Scott Sio and Sekope Kepu in an improving front-row under the leadership of expert scrum coach Mario Ledesma

In the back-line, Will Genia returns at scrum-half, with Matt Giteau and Tevita Kuridrani partnering eachother in the centres and Israel Folau starting the game at full-back.

Fijians change four ahead of Wallaby test

After putting up a spirited fight against England on opening night, where they gave the hosts many scares, head coach John McKee has kept faith with the majority of Friday's starters.

He makes four changes, one of them enforced, as his side look to get their first win under their belts against the Wallabies.

Flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu is banned after being cited for a dangerous tip-tackle on England's Jonny May, and his place in the side goes to Clermont's Peceli Yato

The other three changes all come up-front too, with Netani Talei, Tevita Cavubati and Tuapati Talemaitoga starting their first games of the competition.

Talei takes the place of Sakiusa Matadigo at number eight, and in the process will be appearing at his third Rugby World Cup, becoming the eighth Fijian to do so.
