Ireland and Romania meet on Sunday at Wembley, in both sides second matches at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Ireland head into the game, knowing nothing less than a repeat of their bonus point win over Canada in their opener will suffice ahead of matches against Italy and France.

For Romania, the four-day turnaround from their defeat against France at the Olympic Stadium will not aid them, in a game they are not expected to challenge the Six Nations champions.

Schmidt rotates squad with bigger tests ahead

Ireland have made 12 changes to their starting XV for the clash at Wembley, with only Jamie Heaslip, Jared Payne and Keith Earls retaining their spots.

Heaslip skippers the side from number eight, where he is joined in the back-row by Jordi Murphy and Chris Henry

Tommy Bowe returns on the right-wing, where he takes his place in an electric back-three which includes Munster pair Earls and Simon Zebo

World Cup debuts have been handed to Devin Toner, Darren Cave, Richardt Strauss and Henry, whilst Cian Healy grabs his first start since injury earlier this year which had the nation on tenterhooks.

Romanians change eight off back of French defeat

Head coach Lynn Howells has made eight changes to his Romanian side to face the Irish, just four days after the defeat to France.

Up front, Andrei Urasche, Andrei Radoi and the experienced Ovidiu Tonita come into a bulky front five which includes former Bath prop Paulica Ion who was sin-binned against the French.

In the back-row Daniel Carpo starts at eight in a slight re-shuffle, which sees captain Mihai Macovei move to openside flanker, after Valentin Urasche was banned for a week after being found guilty of a dangerous tackle in their opener.

There are a pair of new half-backs with Valentin Calafeteanu and Michael Wiringi entrusted with leading their side around the park, whilst Ionut Botezatu and Csaba Gal join them in a new-look back-line.
