This is probably a match England's players and staff would rather avoid having been unceremoniously dumped out of their own Rugby World Cup following defeats to Wales and Australia

It is a match they have to play, and Stuart Lancaster has drafted in a number of players who will have a point to prove after missing out on selection for the big games England have lost.

Henry Slade is the most exciting of the new names, with the fly-half/centre a player many felt could have altered England's path at this World Cup after a stunning season for the Exeter Chiefs

Slade will be a huge part of England's future, and a good performance is needed by all at the City of Manchester Stadium, to send the hosts out on a high after a horrific fortnight.

Exeter pair amongst England's World Cup debutants

The aforementioned Slade is joined in England's back-line by Exeter teammate Jack Nowell, who has been unfortunate not to feature until now after some strong performances in the past two Six Nations.

Nowell and Slade are joined by Danny Care and Alex Goode as the players to make their World Cup debuts, with Saracens' hooker Jamie George doing likewise if he comes off the bench.

Elsewhere, George Ford slots back in at fly-half, with Owen Farrell moving to 12, and Slade at 13 to give England four distributors in their backline if you include playmaker Goode who starts at full-back.

Anthony Watson starts again on the wing and will hope to increase his try tally against the lowly-ranked Uruguayans, with Chris Robshaw again leading the side from the flank.

Joe Launchbury and Geoff Parling continue in the second-row, whilst Mako Vunipola takes Joe Marler's spot at loosehead prop, with the Harlequins man dropping to the bench alongside Jonathan Joseph, Tom Wood and Mike Brown

Lemoine changes two after Fiji defeat

Head coach Pablo Lemoine has made just two alterations to his starting lineup for Uruguay's final game at this World Cup.

Felipe Berchesi starts at fly-half in place of Alejo Duran, whilst there is also a change in the front-row, where Mateo Sanguinetti takes Alejo Corral's place in the team.

Influential scrum-half Agustin Ormaechea has been cleared to play after picking up the first red-card of this World Cup against Fiji on Tuesday evening.
