Aussie born Brit Johanna Konta fell at the final hurdle in Paris losing in three sets to Ukraine's Yuliya Beygelzimer.  Konta took the first set but then Beygelzimer fought back to take the second set 7-5.  She then totally took control, not allowing Jo to win another game in the match taking the deciding set 6-0.

Heather Watson is the hope left with a shot at reaching the main draw, which starts on Sunday. Watson plays Anett Kontaveit from Estonia tomorrow morning from 9am UK time, in an extra qualifying day due to rain. She came from a set and a break behind today to beat Kateryna Kozlova in three sets.
