Andy Murray was looking to make his 2nd final in 4 weeks, and add more ranking points to get back in the top 10 (not to mention trying to qualify for the WTF in London).  His semi final opponent was none other than Viktor Triocki who he had a 5-0 Head to head lead.  Could Murray make his 2nd final in 4 weeks and also do what James Ward did not long ago?  Into the first set and it was on serve until Murray broke to take a 3-2 lead, only to drop serve straight away to hand Triocki the advantage again.  at 3-4 he needed to hold and he did to level, this seemed to spur him on again as he took the break again next game to lead 5-4, he needed to serve out the set.  Murray had no problem doing this and was a set up, would he hold on as he had throughout this tournament and not drop a set?

Into the 2nd set and he took an early break (the opening game) and was soon 3-1 up, Troicki was not going to take this lying down and kept the pressure on to keep his own service game, denying Murray the double break.  At 4-3 Murray had a very important service game, and survived a little mid game wobble to come out of that needing one game to reach the final.

Troicki was serving to stay in the match, but Murray was in no mood to comply and came out swinging,  he was soon up with 3 match points and broke Troicki to love to reach the final.  Not only that but he is now 8th in the Race to London and cannot be overtaken this week.
