Goal and highlights: Necaxa 3-0 Celaya in a friendly match in preparation for the Apertura 2021

In a preparation match played in Aguascalientes, Necaxa defeated Celaya 3-0, three weeks before they begin their participation in the Apertura 2021 Liga MX and Expansion MX tournaments, respectively.

Both teams have already moved a large part of their squads.

The Rays scored for the third time in the match.

Necaxa and Celaya are already playing the second half of their preparation match.

With goals from Alejandro Zendejas and Ángel Sepúlveda, Necaxa defeats Celaya 2-0.

After a corner kick, Ángel Sepúlveda took advantage of a rebound inside the box to push the ball in and increase the Rayos' lead over the Toros.

Necaxa's first change: Rubén González comes on for Alejandro Zendejas.

With this goal, Necaxa is beating Celaya.

After his brief stint with Mazatlán FC in the First Division, Celaya confirmed the return of Ricardo Marín to their institution.

Everything seems to indicate that Argentine Lautaro Giannetti will be the leader of Necaxa's renewed defense, which will also count on the incorporation of Fabricio Formiliano.

Meanwhile, the previous Friday, Celaya was defeated 2-1 by the Gallos Blancos of Querétaro at the CEGAR; their goal was scored by Eleuterio Jiménez.

In their last match, played last Saturday, Necaxa faced León at the Victoria Stadium, a team they defeated 3-0, with goals by Mauro Quiroga (2) and Vicente Poggi.

Meanwhile, Celaya will try to continue to be one of the leading teams in the division, but now seeking to win the title they have been denied, despite being favorites due to the good performance they have shown in the regular stages of the tournament.

After a disastrous participation in last year's tournament, Necaxa has undergone many changes, as its roster, led by Guillermo Vázquez, has undergone a 70% renovation.

With three weeks left to debut in the new tournament of their respective divisions, Liga MX and Expansion MX teams continue with their preseason matches, and this Wednesday, in Aguascalientes, Necaxa will host Celaya.
