Wade Miley limited the Chicago White Sox to two runs after they scored nine on Friday and lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 4-3 win on Saturday.

Miley pitched seven strong innings while giving up just the two earned runs on four hits and six strikeouts. The two runs coming from a Paul Konerko two run homer in the bottom of the fifth. White Sox starter Jose Quintana was also solid, pitching six innings of seven hit ball while allowing three earned runs.

The D-backs provided just enough run support, scoring three in the fifth and one in the seventh. An Alfredo Marte double, A.J. Pollock single and Martin Prado sacrifice fly were three RBI hits that came in the fifth inning for the D-backs. Arizona would get their seventh inning run from a Miguel Montero RBI single.

Brad Ziegler recorded his seventh hold of the year in the eighth inning and Addison Reed managed to get his eleventh save on the year, after once again allowing a run to score off a Alexei Ramirez RBI single..

The Diamondback win forces a rubber match on Sunday, where Arizona will try to win its third consecutive series. The D-backs will send rookie Chase Anderson to the mound, who was recently brought up from Double-A Mobile in place of Mike Bolsinger. Anderson sported a 0.69 ERA throughout the six starts he made. The White Sox will counter with Hector Noesi.
