Vidal Nuno gifted the Arizona Diamondbacks with yet another good start that was once again wasted, as the D-Backs' lack of run support allowed the Cleveland Indians to earn the 3-2 walk-off win in Game One of Wednesday's doubleheader.

Nuno threw 5 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits and six also had strikeouts. Vidal found trouble in the sixth inning, giving up both runs on a Michael Brantley single.

The D-backs scraped two runs off former D-Backs' pitcher Trevor Bauer, both coming from measly ground outs in the sixth and seventh inning. Jordan Pacheco grounded into a double play that scored Jake Lamb in the sixth inning and Aaron Hill's groundout in the seventh inning scored Mark Trumbo. Bauer flaunted what Arizona gave up on in his eight strong innings, in which he gave up just the two runs on four hits and while striking out nine batters.

Zach Walters ended the game in the ninth inning with his walk off solo homer off of Randall Delgado.

Game Two of the double header started shortly after Game One concluded, as Andrew Chafin made his Major League debut against Josh Tomlin and the Indians.
