The Baltimore Orioles have announced that they have claimed catcher Ryan Lavarnway off waivers, as well as releasing outfielder Quintin Berry.

Lavarnway might not want to get too settled, considering that he has switched teams multiple times since being designated for assignment by Boston in November.

On December 5, the Los Angeles Dodgers claimed him off waivers. A couple of days later, the Dodgers got rid of Lavarnway and he was claimed by the Chicago Cubs on December 19.

Tuesday was his latest move, as he is now on the Orioles. The 27-year old has only played 97 games in his career while hitting .201 with 5 home runs and 34 RBI. He will still be a backup or minor leaguer in Baltimore behind Matt Wieters.
