It was another magical night at the Olympic Stadium as the Toronto Blue Jays and Cincinnati Reds played the second of two games in Montreal, Quebec. The Jays came up with a performance sure to please the crowd after the Reds spoiled the fun last night.

The Blue Jays offense led the way as the they downed the Reds 9-1 in the final exhibition game of the spring for both sides before a crowd of 50,231 on Saturday afternoon. The Jays bullpen played a big role in the win, shutting out the Reds offense until the ninth inning.

Third baseman Josh Donaldson opened the scoring with a homer off Reds starter Anthony DeSclafani (1-2) on a fly ball to center field in the second inning, his sixth of spring training, putting the Jays ahead.

Jays starter Daniel Norris (4-0) went three innings allowing just one hit.

Canadian and Jays catcher Russell Martin walked to start the fourth. Jose Bautista doubled on a line drive to center field, scoring Martin all the way from first.

Former Jays reliever Kevin Gregg replaced DeSclafani in the fifth and was hit around hard. Kevin Pillar doubled on a line drive to right field to open the inning.

Second baseman Devon Travis singled, moving Pillar to third. Jose Reyes followed that up with a single to left, scoring Pillar to make it 3-0.

Edwin Encarnacion singled, scoring Travis. Donaldson -- the Jays big summer acquisition from Oakland -- singled to score pinch runner Steve Tolleson. Designated hitter Dioner Navarro doubled on a fly ball to left field, scoring another pinch runner, Jon Berti, to cap off a big inning for the Jays' offense.

Thanks to solid pitching from the Jays' bullpen, the Reds failed to generate much offense, registering just three hits all game.

Travis singled off reliever Manny Parra to start out the sixth. Justin Smoak doubled to bring in another pinch runner, Munenori Kawasaki, from first base. Tolleson doubled to score Smoak. Danny Valencia singled to center field to bring Tolleson home to make it 9-0 for the ‘home’ team.

Taylor Cole replaced Marco Estrada on the mound for the Jays to open the ninth. Cole walked Chris Dominguez, the second batter he faced. Bryson Smith singled to center field to score Dominguez from second, but that was all the offense Cincinnati could muster.

The Jays cap off their spring training with a 19-13 record while the Reds finish 15-15.

Both teams officially start their seasons Monday, with the Blue Jays heading to New York to take on the Yankees and the Reds playing host to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
