The Philadelphia Phillies got RBI from four different players on route to a 5-3 victory over the Washington Nationals Saturday afternoon in our nation's capital. Three of those runs scored on singles, and the other two came in on routine groundouts. However, those were enough to secure victory for the Phillies.

Freddy Galvis picked up the first of his two RBI when he drove home Phillies starter Aaron Harang with a single in the top of the third that tied the game at 1-1. The next hitter, Chase Utley, brought home Odubel Herrera with a fielder's choice ground ball to give the Phillies the lead. Both runs were unearned after Harang had reached on an error.

In the fifth, Galvis broke a 2-2 tie with his second RBI, this one on a soft line drive single into center field that scored Herrera with the go-ahead run.

Then with the game tied at 3-3 in the seventh, Grady Sizemore's RBI fielder's choice plated Ben Revere with another go-ahead run. Philadelphia tacked on an insurance run in the ninth thanks to Herrera's RBI single.

Washington scored single runs in the first, fourth, and fifth, and each one represented a game-tying run. Ryan Zimmerman had his own RBI groundout in the first, and Jose Labaton singled home the second game-tying run in the fourth.

With his team trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Bryce Harper took Harang's 89-mph fastball far beyond the center field wall for one of the longest home runs ever hit in Nationals Park.

Harper's mammoth home run (4) tied the game at 3-3 at that point, but the Nationals would not score again.

Harang (2-1, 1.96 ERA) pitched six innings, allowing three earned runs on seven hits. He walked two and struck out six. Three Phillies relievers each pitched a scoreless inning with Jonathan Papelbon (S: 3) closing it out with one strikeout out for the save. Ian Desmond flew out to the left field warning track to end the game.

Jordan Zimmermann (L: 1-2, 6.14) allowed two earned runs (four total) in six innings for the loss. He served up four hits while walking four and fanning three.

Each team has won a game in this series, and the rubber game will occur Sunday afternoon at 1:35 p.m. David Buchanan (0-2, 11.42) will start for Philadelphia while Stephen Strasburg (0-1, 6.75) will pitch for the Nationals.
