Voting for the final's are open! Thank You for joining us...I'm Jameus Mooney from VAVEL USA.

Ian Kinsler, Dustin Pedroia, Evan Longoria, Michael Saunders and George Springer are your AL Final Five!

Brandon Belt, Rayn Braun, Jake Lamb, Trevor Story and Starling Marte are your NL Final Five!

There is NO decision on either starter for the AL or the NL.

Your AL Pitchers are as followed:
Chris Sale (probable starter), Craig Kimbrel, Zach Britton, Andrew Miller, Wade Davis (DL), Hammels, Estrada, Salazar, Betances, Wright, Brach, Colome, Herrera and Harris.

AL Reserves are as followed:
Robinson Cano, Stephen Vogt, Mark Trumbo, Francisco Lindor, Eduardo Nunez, Matt Wieters, Josh Donaldson, and Edwin Encarnacion.

Collins' expresses that his biggest issue is the starter. He feels you can't mess up a lineup full of All-Stars.

Where are guys like Yadi, Bruce, Polanco, Brandon Crawford, Freddie Freeman are noticable for not being there.
Kershaw was likely the starting pitcher, but who is Collins' going with? Syndergaard is the obvious choice with Kershaw on the DL. Stephen Strasburg is a name we missed. MadBum is likely to start on Sunday.
Here are the other pitchers: Familia, Cueto, Jon Lester (Cubs), Teheran, AJ Ramos (Marlins) , Mark Melancon (Pirates), Rodney and Jansen.

Wil Myers, Adam Duvall, Matt Carpenter, Jonathon Lucroy, Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, Daniel Murphy, Wilson Ramos, Carlos Gonzales (Rockies), Marcell Ozuna and Odubel Herrera get the nod for the NL Reserves.
Where is Yadier Molina? Hmmm.

We have highlights of today's ballgames. The Rays currently lead the Angels' after a Souza Jr. single to score Logan Forsythe.

ANOTHER Cub Dexter Fowler is starting, but on the DL. Trying to get back, but if he can't, he won't start. Which opens up: who gets that third spot?

The Reigning National League MVP, Bryce Harper gets the nod...with slumping numbers.
Collins' own Yoenis Cespedes does as well!

You're Kidding? Cubs are 4/4 on the infield with the most undeserving thus far, Kris Bryant starting.

Addison Russel starting? Ehhhhh...Russel is your starting SS, with mediocre offensive #'s.

Ben ZoBro starts at 2B!

Anthony Rizzo is the starting 1B, and the most well deserved!

The Florida State alum, Buster Posey is your starting NL Catcher!

The things Ned Yost is going to be able to do with that bench...let this bench sink in...
He'll likely have Robinson Cano, reigning MVP Josh Donaldson, Miguel Cabrera, Fransisco Lindor and Mark Trumbo.

The only back-to-back ASG MVP, the Hank Aaron of our generation, Mike Trout will be starting in the outfield, alongside Jackie Bradley Jr. and Mookie Betts of the BoSox! Bradley of course had the long hit streak.

This will be the first time in history that all starting All-Star infielders and catcher are 26 or younger. Bogearts joins the show after being announced for his first ASG. Bogearts has a .336 BA with 9 HRs.

The obvious 3rd base selection, Manny Machado is the AL Starter!

Xander Bogearts is your AL Starting Shortstop!

At 2nd Base, we have The Astros' Jose Altuve!

Eric Hosmer is your starting AL 1st Basemen!

With the ESPN Baseball Tonight crew, David Ortiz is announced as the American League Designated Hitter...in his final season, and his 10th All-Star appearance. Salvy Perez also has more votes than any other player.

Welcome to the 2016 ASG Reveal! I'm Jameus Mooney and I will keep you update with the reveals live as they happen!

One of the few head aces, Chris Sale is the #1 starter for the Chicago White Sox, ahead of #2 and #3 man, Jose Quintana and former All-Star James Shields. Leading baseball in wins (14), he has the most wins for a pitcher prior to the All-Star break since Dave Wells 15-2 record in 2000. With a 2.93 ERA, a .098 WHIP, and 118 strikeouts on the year thus far, Robin Ventura has already made it clear he doesn't mind Sale starting, making him the obvious choice for KC Manager Ned Yost. Madison Bumgarner is another obvious pick, but for Terry Collins of the NY Mets. With LAD Ace Clayton Kershaw landing on the DL and Jake Arrieta coming back down to earth in multiple rocky outings as of late, the Giant lefty a 2.24 ERA and 126 SOs in 17 games. In a matchup of lefties, it's a good possibility that these are our All-Star starters.

Remember, this is just a projection of the rosters, not the actual thing. Join us LIVE as we update you through the ASG Roster Reveal at 7 PM on ESPN!

For teams such as The Tampa Bay Rays who don't necessarily have an All-Star caliber player, we have to have a representative, and that's where a player such as Alex Colome comes in. Fresh off of the DL (only for a very, very short stint though), he's in his 3rd year in the league taking Brad Boxberger's place as Tampa Bay's closer, he's shining through an atrocious bullpen. With a 1.11 WHIP, a 1.76 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 28 games, sporting a 19/19 in saves and a 1-2 win/loss record. The only other reasonable candidates are 2B Logan Forsythe and 3B Evan Longoria, in which neither are good representations at their respective positions with players such as Cano and Donaldson.

Although fan voting may say otherwise, this is the most likely All-Star Game Roster.  Why, you ask? Much like last year with the Royals fan base, the Cubs have stuffed the balloting, once again pointing out the major issue for a game with World Series implications on the line. The winning team gets homefield advantage in the Best of 7 World Series between the winners of the ALCS and NLCS.
With players such as Omar Infante, who was Designate for Assignment, getting votes, MLB will HAVE to edit the starting lineups. Therefore, it is expected that they do the same for the Cubs. Nolan Arenado of the Colorado Rockies is more deserving of the All-Star nod than Bryant; just look at the following statistics when the voting closed....Arenado is defensively FAR AND AWAY better than Bryant....
Offensively has a BA 16 PTs higher than Kris Bryant, same amount of homers, 5 more stolen bases (the bags and the avg is what's putting him over for me), more triples, more doubles, same amount of hits. Arenado plays the game well too, always hits his cutoffs, hustles down the line....
ALL in TWO more PA....Arenado's also has more RBIs, with less people on base for him a majority of the time. Bryant is having an All-Star caliber year, yes, but Arenado is a better representation at third base. People watch the game to see the best compete, not for the Cubs to compete. Addison Russell is not a great representation at SS, either. Expect that to change. The Red Sox seem to have the same exat issue on this specific fan voting this year, however, all of the players likely to be elected are extremely deserving of the nod....
