Teams from all across the league decided to not play their respective games of the day as a form of protest to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man, who was shot by police multiple times in the back in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The MLB joined the NBA, league which started the movement by not playing the playoffs inside the bubble at Orlando.
The Toronto Blue jays, who were supposed to play their third and final game of the series against the Boston Red Sox, decided not to compete and both teams agreed that the game will be rescheduled.

Boston's manager, Ron Roenicke explained during an emotional interview the decision to not play at Buffalo.
“This is really an important time in our country, and what are we going to do?”
