The show opens with CJ Parker coming out.  The announcers note that Parker has undergone a major mood change as of late.  He will meet Solomon Crowe.  The two have a mostly forgettable match.  The crowd was solidly behind Crowe.  Crowe gets the win by submission when he locks Parker in the Stretch Muffler leg lock.  Crowe cuts a very brief promo post match, but it’s nothing that reveals too much.

Crowe is a decent in ring worker, but his gimmick has been mildly introduced.  He needs to cut some promo’s that give him a direction and allows the crowd to get more invested in him.  Parker actually legit left the company a few weeks ago, so maybe the frustration the announcers were putting over was actually real.  It’s a decent show open that puts over Crowe and continues his push.

Baron Corbin is out next against a complete jobber.  Corbin hits a short clothesline and his End of Days finisher for the pin fall.  The match was less than 30 seconds.

There’s no reason for Corbin not to work a 3-minute match and put a few moves in.  Fans already understand that he is a monster, so if he’s going to have squashes he needs to land some new moves.

Sami Zayn does a short interview about how Rhyno wants to cut to the front of the line.  He feels like even without the title he still has a bullseye on his back.

Big Cass and Enzo Amore are out to cut yet another solid entrance promo.  The fans have really taken to these two and it’s funny how despite the good pop they get Carmella still gets booed.  They will take on Fulton and Dockins.  This is basically a squash match to help further the push of Enzo and Cass.  Blake and Murphy come down to ringside to give Carmella flowers, which she happily accepts.

Big Cass tosses Enzo off the top rope on to Fulton for the pin.  Post match the trio have a small spat about the flowers given to Carmella.

Carmella has to turn on Enzo and Cass when they finally take on Blake and Murphy.  It would not make any sense for anything else to happen.

Alex Riley cuts a promo challenging Kevin Owens for next week.  He says he’s just getting started and has nowhere to go.

Riley and Owens have engaged in a great twitter war.  It will be interesting to see if WWE uses this to promote the match next week between those two.

Blue Pants hits the ring and she will be served up to the debuting Dana Brooke.  Brookes likes to flex as much as Ravishing Rick Rude.  Brooke gets in most of the offense.  Blue Pants mounts a short rally, but Brooke cuts her off and hits a Michinoku Driver for the win.

Charlotte, Bayley, and Becky Lynch will have a triple threat next week to determine a new #1 contender for the Women’s title.  Lynch has to be a huge favorite in that match.

Zayn is out first for his match with Rhyno.  Rhyno gets in most of the offense and dominates a majority of the match.  The work pretty stiff, and the ends comes when Zayn hits the Helluva kick in the corner on Rhyno to get the win.

Any show with Zayn wrestling on it is a good show.  NXT moved along a few of their angles.  They are doing a great job building towards their tag title match, which hopefully they hold off until the next live special.  Corbin clearly needs a new foil and Dana Brooke needs a lot of work.

Some possible predictions for next week are Becky Lynch going over and possibly Zayn costing Owens his match with Riley to re-spark their feud and give Riley a chance at building some momentum.  We will see.
