Jake Roberts is a legend of the wrestling industry and someone whose opinion is highly regarded amongst wrestling fans after his years of service. Roberts was one of the very best and his experience means that fans are likely to take his thoughts with some trust and in a recent interview with Fox Sports he spoke about two of WWE's headline Hall of Fame superstars.

However, he was only complimentary about one of them. Whilst the other claimed was someone he did not enjoy working with, providing quotes that may shock some fans.

Sting not for him

Sting is seen by many as WCW's greatest ever superstar and someone who never had the run he deserved in the WWE. He had a glorious career spanning over 20 years at various companies, coming to an end at this years WrestleMania weekend when he officially retired and was inducted into the company's Hall of Fame as the headline name.

But despite having countless brilliant matches and providing wrestling fans with memories they will never forget Roberts doesn't look back on his time working with The Icon fondly. Roberts revealed that he didn't "Enjoy" working with him and felt that Sting was "Very lackadaisical" and didn't want to "Ramp it up" during their matches. He even went as far as to say that Sting didn't have his "Heart in it" which will be something that comes as a surprise to most, including this writer, but it is clear how Roberts feels about him.

Stone Cold supporter

Whilst Roberts may not have been a fan of Stings work, one man he was a fan of was Stone Cold Steve Austin. He revealed how he helped Austin during the early stages of his career and would often receive calls from Austin for help, which he was happy to do due to being a "Big fan" of his.

Roberts claimed that he was a fan of Austin's "Before anybody else was," recalling a story about when Vince McMahon told him that he felt Austin would be a mid-carder at best, something which Roberts disagreed with. He instead told McMahon that Austin would be his next "Blow it out of the water guy" and he certainly was right about that.
