One of the major talking points leading into WrestleMania 32 was what involvement both Bray Wyatt and The Rock would have at the event and, in the end, both men would work with each other in a fascinating promo before The Rock would defeat Erick Rowan in just seconds. Since then the People's Champion hasn't been seen in a WWE ring but Wyatt has invited him back by letting him know that they are not finished with each other.

Bray Wyatt was a guest on ESPN's Off The Top Rope with Jonathon Coachman and the topic of their WrestleMania interaction came up. Wyatt admitted that it was "Special" to work with him at such a big occasion as Rocky is such a "Big star" and the moment was certainly one to remember. Seeing them come together in a battle of promos was a special moment for fans of both men, with the crowd fully invested in what each man was saying the moment will indeed be one Wyatt remembers.

During the interview, Wyatt made it clear that he is not finished with Rocky after claiming they have "Unfinished business" before going on to challenge the future Hall of Famer to a match at next year's event in Orlando. Whilst by no means indicates the two will be squaring off in the ring at any time in the future, it is certainly a sign that the WWE are at least considering the idea, something that will likely excite fans.

Could it work?

The prospect of this feud developing is intriguing, with both men fantastic on the microphone and having the ability to make fans invested in everything they do, no matter how meaningful, the potential if given the time is huge. The in-ring work would likely be solid too, with neither man being the best technical wrestler the WWE has ever seen they would certainly be capable of putting on a fun match and it is a WrestleMania worthy bout.

However, the WWE would need to book Wyatt and his family a lot stronger if they want to make this match happen. Wyatt has a history of being in feuds against top tier talents and looking dominant in the build up only to be beaten almost every single time, meaning fans are starting to take the group less and less seriously. That would be an issue if this feud were to happen as the WWE would need to make it believable that Wyatt could actually beat The Rock for fans to fully get behind the match.

On the other hand, if Dwayne Johnson is to step back into the ring for another match, working with a talent like Wyatt is exactly what he should do. Even though seeing him in dream matches against the likes of John Cena and CM Punk was fun, working with talent that needs a big push to the next level such as Wyatt would be a much more beneficial way of using his star power, and it is clear that Wyatt is prepared to meet him halfway.
