WWE has suspended Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 60 days effective immediately, for her second violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
Strike two for Paige
This comes as a shock because this is her second strike of the wellness policy in under a year, in fact in under six months! Things were thought to be bad enough for Paige as she hasn't been able to step back into the ring due to a serious injury and last week it was said that Paige may be out of action for up to one year so this couldn't have been good news with all she has been dealing with in the company since her real life boyfriend and former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio left the WWE in September.
What does this mean?
Since the news broke moments ago Paige has taken to her Twitter to address the situation, stating; "same stuff different day. Kids...please don't get prescriptions or doctors notes. Not acceptable." She also tweeted out "Rules apply depending on your status." So has more prescription drugs and a doctor's note again gotten a different WWE talent in trouble or is this a go too excuse?
If so WWE has a problem on their hands with it, there must be a way to sort it out because if people with proper forms and reasons doing nothing wrong are being suspended, that could leave a lot of talents angry with this being the third person that has been suspended following up saying they had a doctors note. Adam Rose first said before the summer saying he has had a doctors note for his ADHD medication then last month Eva Marie was suspended and she came out saying she had a doctor's note, now Paige, this is a problem that needs to be sorted. If it isn't sorted angered Superstars could get up and leave the company, making the situation even worse for WWE.
