Barrenetxea received the pass in the box and shot hard, but in the hands of Kotarski.
 

Frigan managed to get a shot very close to the goal, and Arnau Tenas shot wide! Rodri and Blanco left Spain for Gila and Barrenetxea.

Perkovic managed to get a header on Baturina's cross, but sent the ball over the goal. And in Croatia Franjic left for Galesic.

Miranda managed to get a strong shot after Rodri's pass and stamped the left post! And in Croatia Prsir and Krizmanic were out for Colina and Palaversa. In Spain Baena and Abel Ruiz were out for Oroz and Camello.

Yellow for Stiojkovic, for a foul in the midfield. And in Spain Sancet left and Gabri Veiga came in.

Frigan once again received the pass, now from Kacavenda, and got the header on high, but Arnau Tenas saved Spain from an equalizer with an immediate response, where Sancet received Baena's pass and shot from outside the area, but Kotarski scrambled away.

Frigan received a pass from Baturina and managed to shoot, but from the right side of the goal.

The players return to the pitch and start the second half of the match! In Croatia, Beljo and Sego are out for Kacavenda and Stojkovic.
 

Abel Ruiz opened the scoring in the first move of the match and that's how we closed the first half of the match, with Spain beating Croatia!

Frigan received Baturina's cross and managed to get a header, but sent the ball to the right.

Sego is yellow carded for a strong foul. And in the next throw Victor Gómez received the pass from Sancet and hit hard, but to the right of the goal!

Sancet received a pass from Baena and shot hard, but the ball went over the goal. In the next move Frigan received the ball in the box and shot to the left corner, but Arnau Tenas saved Spain's life!

Juan Miranda received the cross and got the header, for a corner, crossed into the area by Gómez, where Baena got the shot, but over the goal. And in the next move Frigan was yellow carded for a foul in the midfield.

Right on cue Sergio Gómez got the pass to Abel Ruiz inside the box to shoot into the left corner, opening the score!

The Euro Under-21 has 16 participating teams, divided into four groups with four teams each. The matches will take place in four stadiums in Romania (two in Cluj-Napoca and two in Bucharest) and four in Georgia (one in Batumi, another in Kutaisi, and two in Tbilisi).  The top two teams in each group advance to the quarterfinals. The knockout format is the traditional one, with extra time and a penalty shootout if necessary.

Allard Lindhout will be the match referee, with Rogier Honig and Patrick Ina as assistants, with all coming from the Netherlands, while João Pinheiro will be the fourth referee, coming from Portugal.

In Group B Spain leads the group with three points, tied with Ukraine, while Croatia and Romania have no points so far.

Croatia Under-21 on the other side comes with a draw, a win and a loss. The draw was on March 23, without goals, at home against Israel, in a friendly match. On the 28th the victory was away, 2-1 against England. And at the Euro, on Wednesday (21) the defeat was 2-0 to Ukraine, with goals from Kashchuk and Sikan.

Spain Under-21s come into this match with one draw and two wins. The first victory was on March 24, 3-2 over Switzerland at home in a friendly. In another friendly match, away from home, the draw was without goals against France. And on Wednesday (21), already in the Qualifiers, the victory was 3-0 over Romania, with goals from Baena, Miranda and Gomez.
