XIE and WANG continue to lead the way for China and Great Britain's Laugher is still fighting for silver; Mexico's Pacheco is out of medal contention.

Xie and Yang, the Chinese, are still in the lead, while Mexico's Rommel Pacheco is in fifth place with 298.60, 35 points away from the bronze medal with two dives remaining.

China's Xie and Wang remain in the lead and Mexico's Pacheco moved up to sixth place, although more than 40 points behind third place.

Rommel Pacheco with a difficulty of 3.4 in his third dive reached a total of 219.40 to place second.

To reach the final, the qualification will be divided into three parts. The first in preliminaries, semi-final and the final. It should be noted that the semi-final will be held five hours before the grand final.

The Tokyo aquatic center was built exclusively for these Olympic Games, started to be held since 2017 and being inaugurated last October 26, 2020, with capacity for 15 thousand spectators.
