Balatonfüred
The Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe, offers countless unforgettable experiences throughout the year. This lake, with an area of almost 200 km2, warms up very easily in summer, so its shores, which are getting deeper, attract many people: the lower areas of the southern shore are ideal for families with children, but on both sides of the Balaton there are family-friendly beaches where water sports can also be practiced.

Kaspovár
It is the capital of Somogy County in Hungary. It is located 186 km southwest of Budapest, straddling the Kapos River.
The city is surrounded by the gentle hills of the subregion called outer Somogy in the north and by the cliff down the forests of the other subregion Zselic from the south. Kaposvár has been an important traffic road junction before the regulation of the Kapos river, being the basis for any kind of development for the city and its citizens.
Today Kaposvár is a crossroads of development for railroad and public roads, which have a close connection of all settlements of the agglomeration, as well as to follow, over the hillocks. The railroad line in Europe from Budapest towards the Mediterranean leads through Kaposvár and other county towns.
Route of the stage
Sunday's day, the third of this edition, in this beginning of the Tour of Italy brings us a stage of 201 km of distance. The riders will start from Kaposvár and arrive in Balatonfüred, in a day that is expected to be quiet, as there will only be a dispute for the two intermediate sprints and in a mountainous difficulty that will be recome fourth category. It will be a favorable arrival for the sprinters.
