On July 19, 2013, Chloe Celeste Hosterman, now primarily known as Dove Cameron, introduced herself to Disney Channel fans in the pilot episode of Liv and Maddie. Now, a little over two years later, the 19-year old is a solidified star.

Cameron, who grew up in Bainbridge Island, Washington, turned her focus on acting at the young age of eight by performing in a community theater. Six years later, her family made a huge commitment by moving to Los Angeles for their daughter to have the opportunity to sing in Burbank High School's National Championship Show Choir. Yet, life has not always been so perfect for the actress/singer considering that her father passed away in 2011 and she was a victim of bullying, starting in fifth grade.

Nevertheless, Cameron has bottled her poor school experiences into a beautiful relationship with TOMS to end bullying through the purchase of backpacks. As a matter of fact, a Season 2 episode of Liv and Maddie (Rate-a-Rooney) involved the twins helping their friends realize that they should not allow outside influences to affect their self-esteem and opinion of one self. Also, the show featured the inspirational song "What a Girl Is," which portrayed that everyone is unique and perfect in their own way.

Speaking of Liv and Maddie, the Disney Channel series has never been more popular thanks to the multi-talented actress. Yet, Cameron is not just a star of a TV show but a great singer as well. In less than two years, she has found time away from acting to have three number one hits on the Billboard Kids Digital Songs chart ("Better in Stereo", "Count Me In", and "Rotten to the Core")! Believe it or not, but Cameron currently owns the top three spots on the aforementioned chart with "Rotten to the Core", "If Only", and "Set It Off" (from Disney's Descendants).

"So what should fans look for this month from the Disney sweetheart?"

September is going to be a very exciting month for Dove Cameron, and it starts off with a bang, as this Thursday she will appear on the talk show "Kelly & Michael" for the second time in six weeks. But that is not all! At 8:00 PM EST on September 13, Liv and Maddie returns for its third season with a double-header (Continued-a-Rooney and Voltage-a-Rooney) that will likely confirm Ryan McCartan's presence for future episodes while continuing the on-screen romance of himself and Cameron (which exists off set). In addition, fans cannot wait to see "Rove" (Ryan McCartan/Dove Cameron) in R.L. Stine's Monsterville: The Cabinet of Souls or hear music from their new band "The Girl and the Dreamcatcher."

Could the Descendants star have any more going on? This writer believes not.
