Fantasy football is my religion!” –Ruxin

The League is back with an all new episode which includes a bit of dirtiness, a teaser of the deflategate scandal, and a guest appearance from Randall Cobb of the Green Bay Packers.

The episode begins with Pete having sex with his new girlfriend, as he is finally over Andre and Meegan’s relationship. When finishing up, Pete and his girlfriend discover a wet spot on the sheets, in which Pete is disgusted of sleeping on the side that is marked by the wet spot.

Pete’s dilemma spreads within the group, and Kevin shares his sex life with Jenny, telling the crew that he uses condoms to avoid wet spots. The group teases Kevin for his use of condoms and tells him to ask Jenny to take birth control pills instead, but she is apparently allergic to them.

Being brainwashed by the group that wearing condoms are ridiculous for a man of his age, Kevin pleads Jenny to stop using them, but Jenny rejects Kevin’s request, afraid that Kevin will leave her pregnant with a third child and have baby daddy drama again.

However, Kevin tells Jenny that he is ashamed to buy condoms, so she offers to go to the store with him to buy them instead. While at the store, Jenny runs into Randall Cobb, who gives her some pointers in which she takes into account. But when the situation goes way out of control, the couple eventually finds a solution by making a bet with each other.

If Kevin’s fantasy football team finishes with a better record than Jenny’s, she has to get her tubes tied. If Jenny finishes with a better record, Kevin gets snipped.

Meanwhile, Andre is being sued by his patient’s boyfriend for ruining her breast implants, claiming that one breast seems more deflated than the other, encouraging Kevin and Pete to mock Andre for his own case of the deflategate scandal.

Ultimately, Andre finds out that Taco has been causing his breast implants to deflate since he is using them as bean bags for his new bean bag toss league, taking place in Kevin and Jenny’s backyard without their approval.

All the while, Ruxin is asked by his boss to land their firm a major client in Rabbi Shtotelman who is a fellow Jew. Ruxin joins the Rabbi for a meal at the Rabbi’s house when suddenly he receives a notification on his phone about an injured player on his fantasy roster.

Since electrical devises are prohibited on Shabbat, Ruxin is forced to call upon Taco, his supposed Shabbat goy, a non-Jewish person who performs certain types of activities for Jews. Ruxin asks Taco to complete a simple transaction for him, but of course the silly wack job doesn’t follow Ruxin’s instructions, nearly dropping one of his best running backs, LeSean McCoy.

Seeing that Taco is not handling the task too well, Ruxin takes control of his phone and admits to Rabbi Shtotelman that he is setting up his lineup for fantasy football, telling him that fantasy football is his religion, forcing the Rabbi to banish him from his home.

To make matters worse, as the Rabbi is dismissing Ruxin, he finds Taco having sex with his wife in the kitchen, infuriating him further more.

Tonight’s episode started off slowly but finished with a bang, figuratively and metaphorically. Ruxin’s continued obsession with the league goes above and beyond, and Taco’s craziness does the same. There were plenty of hilarious scenes to close out the show tonight, leading to another solid episode to the season.

The League will be back in action next Wednesday on FXX at 10 pm ET.
